Isn't that a bit late for an SP?

I'm afraid I dont know the manufacturing dates for SP's. The pictures do not show he number plate well, that's what I think it is.

Says date of 1st reg Sept '74. Richard Calver's site says that SP was produced up to 1973. That's several months adrift.

Be interesting to see the VIN.

Funny one here.

SMJ 349N last known to me in Birmingham area in 2001 when it was on a Royal Blue Interceptor 3 Chassis 2240/9622.

Draw your own conclusions.

New pictures on eBay showing the car today, looks like a six pack air filter on it. Seller appears to be a decent individual.

Why would anyone put their car up for sale and not even wash it? Seems a strange idea to me....

Did anyone ever figure out if it was actually an SP?

I didn't in the end,as I was told to call the owner, who wasn't the seller!
Also, as sold, thought I'd back off, & wait for a call asking me to check it out, then would have numbers etc to sort.
Would really liked to have seen it, It seemed a good prospect.
