This looks a particularly nice example. Does anyone know anything about its history - particularly who restored it?

Colin at C@H did the bodywork some years ago and i replaced the entire brake system shortly afterwards as it had been standing awhile. It was then sold on and the present owner had it retrimed plus a lot of mech parts replaced (springs, shox bushes etc all the usuals!).
I remember it being a very nice car.

Dave.

Must be an early MkII as there are not many air-vents on the dashboard.

Correct, that man!

And doesn't it look good? I always liked that dash. Who need more than one vent each side?

Grossly under-valued, surely? If Aston Martin had made that car, in such small numbers, they'd be xxx£150K now.

Yep well up for that FF, just need to dig up another hidden 'Nazi gold bar'!
That will be a must own & keep car, colin body etc, makes for a keeper, fancy going half's Dave!!??!!
Beware the cheap Interceptor! Over the years, almost (NOT ALL!) every Jensen sent to auction is a bit poo!!
Unless your very lucky that is,Apart from Nigel's beutifaull red mk1 FF, I can't think of another decent car at auction, this FF ofcourse aside!
The high end market I know is a totally different ball game, & on that stuff its probably the way to go.
A concours DB4gt is unlikely to be a nail at that type of auction.
That said, probably unlikely to see that car on e-bay either!

I agree with Tim about Jensen's at auction (poo and all that!), I speak from experience.

I bought SWR 20R last year at auction turned out to have a doubtful (to say the least) 4 day old MOT.

If it hadn't been for the help from Jason down at Rejen my boyhood dreams of owning a MK111 would have ended in a BIG disappointment.

Cheers Mark

SWR,hmm would that be a blue walnut dash mk111, blue interior with sheepskin inserts?
I went to buy that car from Battersea (London) a good car trying to get out, left an offer & never saw it again.
Often wondered where it ended up.
