Keith -

Is the Kenny you are mentioning our one and only Kenny38?

Curious minds want to know!

When & Why did he get banished to the colonies?

when I went to school in Australia it had this meaning:

root
1. A Kiwi/Australian slang that is used in place of the more commonly used term "flower."
1. You're rooted! (You're f'ed)
2. If ya wanna root just ask! (If ya wanna flower just ask)
3. Roots Rocks! ( A slogan on a popular Canadian brand of clothing (Roots)

Yes when I was over in the UK working in a law office that did property conveyancing, I was asked if I "had a good root" or words to that effect. It turned out they meant a " good root of title", meaning the ownership history of the property.

Whereas I was stunned that they would ask such a brazen question, presumably about my girlfriend.

Pushes all the right buttons for me. A slick Bertone design, plain but with perfect detailing.

Yes, me too. Good size too. Wonder if the colour is original? Surrounded by black cars!

Loved these cars, beautiful unburstable engine if maintained correctly and carefully treated until properly hot. fantastic handling for its time, good looks especially the earlier ones. Three minus points though: terrible driving position, weak gearbox (synchro's), rot, lots of it.

There's one in the South Island here done out in full Carabinieri kit including blue light on top etc. But I missed getting a pic of it sadly.
