New member advice
Re: New member advice
If you haven't bought one yet, chances are you have patience to get the right car! Do you have a suitable garage for the car to park it in? If not great, plan buying a house or whatever and take a year to research and go to events. I would go to the International and go along to a few local meetings, also check the back issues of magazines in the members only section. Take your time. The book by Calver Original Jensen Interceptor and FF is very interesting as are cheaper older books. You will find that book useful if you own a car, but buying it before can educate you and provide the background so you can enjoy an international meeting. You might see and hear 50+ cars at an International. You need to see a few dozen. Members cars can be exceptionally good. The thing you see at auction or a general classic dealer, odds are it is not as good. While you personally might not be able to fuly structurally examine a car, you will soon learn to narrow the field down, this comes by seeing large numbers of cars.
