VKF 44 looks just the sort of dusty original unrestored car I love. Back in the late ‘70s I remember seeing a similar very dusty maroon 541S parked in Corfe Castle, before I had realised what preceded the CV8. Strangely though I knew it must be a Jensen even before I saw the badge because of the ‘family resemblance’ to the CV8! It was such a lovely patinated car.

I taught myself car mechanics on an old Volvo 144 that was registered OMP 135K, always known as ‘OMP’ (pronounced as a word rather than the letters). On tracking down the original owner he said that his kids were always endlessly amused by the registration likewise calling it ‘OMP’.

I’ve never called the S-Type anything when it’s driving along perfectly but have been known to call it a few things that can’t be repeated when it’s misbehaving

VFK44 looks lovely!
If the underside is not too rusty I would just get it running and sparingly/carefully use as it is. Not all cars need to be restored.
The future ain’t what it used to be.

Godot (/ˈɡɒdoʊ/[a]) is a cross-platform, free and open-source game engine released under the permissive MIT license. It was initially developed by Argentine software developers Juan Linietsky and Ariel Manzur[6] for several companies in Latin America prior to its public release in 2014.[7] The development environment runs on many platforms, and can export to several more. It is designed to create both 2D and 3D games targeting PC, mobile, and web platforms and can also be used to develop non-game software, including editors.
