What do you call your Jensen?
What do you call your Jensen?
I said to my wife that I needed to take “Jenny” out this weekend for a run. She asked me if everyone calls their cars “Jenny” I guess 90% of us do?
Does everyone? Or is it just me thats not very creative?

Re: What do you call your Jensen?
I always refer to the name of my latest illicit girlfriend.
Currently I refer to taking Doris out for a good seeing too, get things we’ll lubed, spend £50 quid on her so we can do it all again next week and I can return home with a smile on my face.
Sadly, Doris might have to go though. She gets really hot and bothered if I keep her waiting.

One is the White Witch, for obvious reasons.
The other is the Cane Toad. Imported pest, bilious green in colour and lots of problems.
None of which matter.

Re: What do you call your Jensen?
I use the name given by Jensen - The Interceptor. Can't think of a better one, and why give something that already has a name, another different name?

Re: What do you call your Jensen?
Mine was "Busty" from the BLL of her number plate - Busty Lusty Lady to give her the full title.
Busty has moved on to pastures new, and the Capri that's now in the garage is known as Caprice.
For those who remember the 90s supermodel of the same name, at least there's some continuity with the Busty aspect...

The Interceptor and The FF.
Occasionally the FF is called "Cedric" after the original owner who was called Cedric.

My 541 is "VFK", after its numberplate.

Re: What do you call your Jensen?
So how is VFK44 doing? I cannot seem to remember any pictures of it in the last 20 years or so on the forum. What condition is it in? Would be interesting to hear what your thoughts and plans are with the car.
The future ain’t what it used to be.

VFK is currently slumbering in secure dry professional storage.
It is rather dusty, but complete.
See the photo below: The spare tyre is in lieu of a handbrake!
The next step requires a sizeable injection of money, which may with luck happen soon.
