Agree Dion. If I was starting out again looking for an Interceptor I’d been keen to explore it in more detail. The fact it’s available to view on a lift is a bonus. Certainly a car that hasn’t been significantly got at - and that interior could be made to look wonderful without too much effort or expense. New set of carpets, veneers and a toothbrush clean would transform it. All a question of degree of rust to deal with Id say. Clearly it needs a repaint and bodywork but there’s a good chance with say a carb rebuild, radiator recore, new water pump and major service it would run well….even sticking with the original radiator fans. Being a late kingpin model, I suspect suspension and steering components maybe a little more tricky to source.

Can you tell I like it through my rose tinted glasses 😀

Interesting provenance too - with long term subsequent ownership a bonus - thus preventing it being overly abused by multiple owners during the model’s wilderness years.
