Dear Jensenists
I decided to search a new home for my Interceptor 3 Project.
I bought the car back in 2009 in Manchester and drove it home to switzerland. I passed the MoT here and drove it until 2011. Then I started the restoration as a compensation to my office job as engineer.
2013 I founded my own classic car workshop www.madmotors.ch
So then my sparetime was gone....
I decided to ask a friend to finish the panelwork....which never happened to 100%. The body is still with him.
That's the story in a nutshell....
So actually the status is:
Engine/ Gearbox out of the car, stored dry, was running when removed. 123ignition installed.
Axles still on the body
Brakes disassembled
Interior out of the car, stored dry. Needs refurbishing
Brightwork/ Glass is in good shape. Some new parts like bumpers, come with the car.
Body, new rear wheel arches, new floor panels and sills, NOS doors already on the car. Still some bodywork/ finish required and a complete paintjob.
The offer I do is the following:
I'm willing to sale this Project for CHF 5000.- which is more or less the value of the spare parts coming with and the drivetrain. I have no actual pictures of the current status of the body. Of course I answer questions as good as I can. There are pictures from the work I have done back in 2013.
Does that sound reasonable?
The car/ parts need to be picked up near Zurich. Has Swiss papers and - need to check - the V5 should be there as well.

That's a bargain for somebody Martin, approx £4500 pounds - I might know someone but he would need help to get it
all on his car trailer, would that be possible, if so then he can put it all back together in his own workshop

Martin is the ex chairman of the Jensen Car Club of Switzerland (JCC). And he always treated his Jensen like a proper Jensen owner should do (picture taken at the 25th anniversary of the JCC back in 2009). Being the current chairman of the JCC, I simply couldn't resisit to take over the chairman's car.

Congratulations Andi! To be honest I was a bit confused as to why you hadn't bought it immediately. The car gets to move to a very picturesque part of Switzerland, what could be better! Great excuse for a technical meeting soon! Paint and body prep would be an interesting topic!
