Hi

I thought that was rear wing damage but then realised that it was a reflection of properties opposite

Is this your car now and what Chassis No is this?

Chassis number is : SJE1105LC2LSV0018. This makes it the 18th one made and a factory original - not one of the ones made after receivership by SV Ltd

Indium is a soft metal element that shows up as a violet blue on a spectrometer - i.e indigo.
If bent, it gives off a high-pitched "scream", much like S.Maley would if you bent his S-V8.

And you've worked out my "theme" for the S-V8 colours!

Based on the periodic table of elements, I named all the S-V8 colours for how they appeared under a spectrometer.

Hence:
Strontium Red
Iridium Yellow
Vanadium Silver
Selenium Red
Boron Green
Indium Blue
Terbium Grey
Cerium Black
Promethium Blue

And the exception that proves the rule: British Racing Green!

The pictures did look lovely and I personally found it very interesting to hear the background behind the colour names, directly from the person who decided the names!
No "dissing" as far as I could see.

Great looking car!

Didn’t realize they had Cobra (Ford) engines!

Thanks for posting!

Thought I would add this photo of a current Toyota Supra of my neighbours to compare body mouldings of the SV8. Not so dated after all !

Thanks Rocky. Yes fabulous engine. Almost too powerful. Lovely deep throated sound and a very unstressed engine. The gearbox is one of the best I’ve ever used.
