Spring Weekend 2024 - April 5th to 7th

Post by zacmarshall »

The Jensen Owners' Club Spring Weekend will be Friday 5th April to Sunday 7th April 2024 at the Hunters Moon Hotel in Sidmouth, Devon.
Quite a few people normally stay a couple of extra nights, so the club have negotiated a deal where if you stay 3 nights you can stay the 4th at half price. There is also a seperate deal where if you stay 4 nights you get the 5th free.

Hunters Moon Hotel, is a family run, early Georgian residence surrounded by two acres of magnificent gardens, wooded lawns and mature trees.

It is pleasantly situated approximately ten minutes walk from Sidmouth’s elegant regency shops and sea front. Guests have direct access via a private gate to ‘The Byes’ – a beautiful National Trust walk which follows the River Sid. The hotel grounds offer seclusion in which to relax, enjoy a stroll or a round on the putting green with refreshments available throughout the day.

Dinner Bed and Breakfast prices per night
Single Room – £131
Double Standard Room – £218
Double Balcony Room – £228

Well behaved dogs are welcome although they charge £13 a night for them.

For details of the hotel see https://www.huntersmoonhotel.com/ but please book via me (Zac Marshall, events@joc.org.uk)

This looks great Zac. Email to follow. Not sure about God's waiting room - can they stand the noise of V8's in full cry?? Hopefully you don't feel this is a suitable location to cater for the needs of the ageing Jensen Owner!

Don’t worry Zac , Sidmouth will be as beautiful as always by the Spring.

As for the truck the sea has spat it back out further along the coast.

As most Jensenites know it will only be a few weekends work to have it back on the road!

Lindsey and I will call in on the Saturday, unfortunately I have to fly overseas on the Sunday or Monday and so can't do it time wise to be away for the whole weekend.
