Inter club International at the Three counties showground Malvern

Post by Steve Payne »

As per the Title 28 to 30th June 2024
I have seen this is a first time for this event and is open to any British classic vehicle car clubs.
I suspect there will be a lot of Triumphs and MG's but are we planning on attending as a club?
I know there is a lot already planned for June but for those that dont fancy taking there car abroad it might suit.

Although it sounds very interesting, I will be away and not able to attend, nor help with organising anything.

Details here

https://www.tr-register.co.uk/article/2 ... rque-clubs

The International at the Black Forest is a few weeks earlier, 7-9 June, so hopefully will be a few people around.

TSSC will be there, I would have to resist the temptation to come away with what would be my 4th GT6

I've had a look at this.

I am willing to register JOC's interest. There are a few questions that need answering such as how much will clubs be charged to display?" "what is the "cost to get in?" "is camping available?" etc etc.

I'll see what i can find out

Shaun, have a word with Zac Zacaroli and Will Leaper, they were going to speak to the organisers as they are local.

Ok. I'll hang fire and I'll try to get hold of Mr. Zacaroli and Mr. Leaper.

Hello,

I can contact the event/book a stand if there is enough interest from the Club to attend.

The Malvern Showground is an excellent venue, and it looks like at good show,

I have spoken to the organisers and have been trying to find out how much the tickets cost (Members will need to pay to display their cars, although there is no cost to the club for the display area). I haven't had a reply / they haven't confirmed them yet.

The event will be in the next magazine with me as the contact, I will speak to Wil and see if I can off load this onto him :-)

I will add it to the web diary when I get a chance, hopefully this weekend.

We will also need to find out which days people plan to attend (Friday, Saturday and / or Sunday), if people want to stay over there are some nice hotels nearby and you can also camp on site.

I have spoken to the organisers and have been trying to find out how much the tickets cost (Members will need to pay to display their cars, although there is no cost to the club for the display area). They have now added costs to the web site:

Early Bird Club Discount (ends 29th Feb 2024)
Sunday day ticket £20
Saturday day ticket £20
Full Weekend (Fri-Sun) without camping £45
Full Weekend (Fri-Sun) with camping £65

I may well be up for this since no Le Mans camping for me this year.

I'll have to remember where the tent is!

A better offer? Doctor's orders? Banned from the Continent?

No Le Mans Classic this year, not sure about Shaun but I'm not too bothered about the modern Le Mans..
