Hampton Court Concours d' Elegance 2 September 2023
Few pictures of the Jensens at Hampton Court today.
Loads more on my phone of all sorts.
Great day out. Thanks to Dave Devine for pulling it all together.

James Bond's DB5 with all the toys working.
Re: Hampton Court Concours d' Elegance 2 September 2023
That DB5 was brilliant. Just like my Corgi model but a bit more refined!

Re: Hampton Court Concours d' Elegance 2 September 2023
I enjoyed a fabulous day out, seeing a number of people I hadn't really seen in over 12 months, as well as too many rare & wonderful cars to list.
My FF ran perfectly (apart from losing what I thought was just one rear light) and although heavy traffic on leaving Hampton Court due to two accidents and someones medical issue, it wasn't bad at all.
Many thanks to Dave & Jan Devine for organising a great event!
Lastly, I was genuinely touched for my FF to be the recipient of the JOC award, voted on the day.
Having had quite a time of things over the past 12 months, having undergone serious spinal surgery following a bad accident, I left this show on a high.
Thank you
PS. The non-functioning rear light turned out to be a break in the supply cable which loops through the near side rear number plate light, hence losing both of those as well, which I hadn't initially noticed.
They're all now working correctly, terminated with a new spade connector.

A few pictures that I took.
We had to leave a a large space between two lines of our cars due a temporary building opposite, otherwise we'd have blocked the thoroughfare.

Thanks for the photos all. Martin, I’ve not paid much attention before but seeing the two FFs next to each other the exterior differences are now noted - the bumpers, overriders, lights, key for fuel flap, etc. Wish I had looked / compared the interiors.
Re: Hampton Court Concours d' Elegance 2 September 2023
It’s funny to see the “James Bond Aston Martin” registered in Switzerland - as a brand new car there is no legal way to do so, but if you spend millions to buy one you obviously find old paperwork and chassis numbers somewhere…….
I own some of the odd Jensen
Re: Hampton Court Concours d' Elegance 2 September 2023
The Lucerne plates are just decoration I think, they're actually registered to someone and are in use. Reminds me of someone else driving around with unregistered license plates

The front plate in one photo is the "proper" James Bond registration mark, they rotate to display other numbers and the rear rotates to display any number you wish for too.
As Pimmie says, the car is NOT road legal anyway!

Any thoughts what could be causing the problem?

"James" clearly deployed the "special switch" in the centre console!
