I never met Han in person, but we emailed each other many times. It always amazed me how someone in a foreign country could have found so much information on Jensen cars and commercial Jensen trucks etc.
It was through Han that I got the 541 build sheets which have now been circulated all over the globe.
Thanks for everything Han ,
Rest in peace.
Mike.

Dear all,

It is with very deep sadness we announce that Han Kamp has passed away on August 10th, 2023.

Han was a beloved member and former chairman from the Jensen Genootschap Holland. Besides that we all know him as a great Jensen connoisseur and the Jensen society (world-wide) shall forever be grateful to Han for his in-depth knowledge of the history and promotion of our marque.

I too did not meet Han personally albeit we did occasionally e-mail each other concerning articles that I discovered locally. I shall miss his articles on Facebook and as Mike Byrne says, how an earth did he manage to obtain the material that he did? What a great ambassador for the marque.

Yes I'm saddened by this news too. Han was one of the first to offer advice and encouragement when I first started my 541 restoration. Very knowledgeable and a gentleman to the end. RIP
