Connolly was succeeded by Connolly Bros in early 2000s
They’ve recently restarted production of Vaumol which I thought had the shading in the grain. Looking at their site I see that for this effect they refer to ‘Luxan’. I believe Luxan was used in Interceptors. I must admit to being slightly confused by it so further investigation will be needed if originality is sought.
