This is Paul Briscoe's 1975 Jensen Interceptor III, on the stand at the 2023 Practical Classics Classic Car & Restoration Show
Paul bought the car in July 2020 and has been restoring it since.
It was a genuine barn find having been stored for 10 years with 2 other interceptors.
Unfortunately, it appears the roof was leaking above the car & the front end had suffered badly, the engine was seized & full of water.
Some of the windows had been smashed & it appears a family of foxes had moved in which then proceeded to eat the seats & give the interior an unforgettable smell.
The car was then stripped down to a bare shell and acid dipped, which got rid of all the rust & most of the front end.
The body is now coming back together & is currently being built back up, Paul recently plumbed the engine up & fired it up, it was great to hear it running.
Paul is aiming to drive it under its own power onto the stand.
While at the show he plans to:
• Fit sound deadening in the boot
• Fit some interior parts
• Fit the wiring loom & fuse box

My thoughts exactly. I'll be there on Saturday and really looking forward to seeing this. An amazing job, especially when looking at the layout of what was removed.

Excellent work Paul on a major resto!
Another Interceptor saved, well done.
The condition of your car when you started, makes the condition of the resto project of my JI 111 at the start look concours!
Look forward to meeting at the NEC
