That’s local to me.
It’s described well , it is in ‘fair condition’ but not mucked about with.
I used the car myself in 2013/14 when the owner let me take it to various SW events as mine was being restored.
Good usable Classic

Re: CV8 104/2301 EOM 520C on Collecting Cars auction site
An interesting ad for several reasons
The seller is 'Pru', but that I think is the name of the car!
201 photos may be a record and as it looks a very original car I have saved a good selection.
All photos are AVIF files and I have not come across that file type before and had to download a reader to view the photos outside of a browser.
I can name 8 owners, not 6 as stated
The car had done 76,000 miles by 1970 so the current mileage is probably 'second time around'.
The letter from Fergus Fine Cars is intriguing, it is dated April '64, so a year before this car was built, and I wonder what it is doing in the history file.
A previous owner was Garnett Orford, Ian Orford's brother, and Garnett went on to own my car for a time and from the dates I would say he went from this car to mine.
The current bid is in scrap car territory and it will be interesting to see where the price goes to by auction end.

Interesting and informative back story...thanks John.
Re: CV8 104/2301 EOM 520C on Collecting Cars auction site
Just caught the last 1/2 Hr.
Interestingly the auction kept extending by 1 minute for each bid and ended some 15 minutes late.
Got to £31,750
Unsold. Can’t see it making any more in future auctions

Re: CV8 104/2301 EOM 520C on Collecting Cars auction site
I think that auction site does that to prevent someone coming in bidding in the last few seconds (auction sniping) and not giving the previous high bidder a chance to respond. So they automatically extend the auction instead.

That seems to be a good idea and closer to a "real life" auction.

So Botticelli blue is a metallic colour is it? I seemed to think it was a darker, non metallic, similar to Stratosphere blue but I could well be mistaken.

I know this car well as I had the pleasure of borrowing it for 3-4 local events in Devon a few years back.
Last time it reached just under £32k. I can’t see it making that in the present climate.
The description is accurate with ‘fair’ condition being about right.
I’m not sure that being so far south in Devon helps prospective buyers.
I did really enjoy using the car.
