NATIONAL DRIVE IT DAY 2023

YES THE BIG ONE RETURNS!
It's going to be bigger and better - could be called Little & Large!

Further developments have taken place with our Drive It Day trip to Hever Castle on 23rd April 2023, as we will have both the Midget & Sprite Club, members and their cars from Kent and Sussex with us, and also those from the Bristol Owners Club, in the spirit of engagement with other classic clubs!
So far, we know that 13 Midgets and Sprites will be attending, and I hope they will build on that. 15 Jensen owners have also confirmed, and we can take more. We await to hear numbers from the Bristol group.
Chris and I will be running another Treasure Hunt with prizes, so do set aside that date and please let us know if you are interested.

All the ingredients are assembled now, 24 Jensens from Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex and Surrey, all models; 15 Bristols from everywhere, 6 and 8 cylinder versions, and 15 Midgets and Sprites too, Frogeyes, Sebring Replicas etc.
Don't forget your Drive It Day plaques, and we'll provide the flag.

It's the Little and Large of the South East! We just need the weather.

Some photos of today. It rained most of the day and now it’s sunshine at home. My first time there and it is well worth a visit. Thank you David and Chris for organising.

A Sincere thanks to all those drivers, Jensen, Bristol, and Midget or Sprite, who made it to Hever Castle - 32 in all, a very good turnout, given the weather. I quite understand why some chose to stay at home, and indeed one Jensen owners was tending a worn our starter motor!

Shall we go there next year? I'm open to other suggestions for a destination, but I think the concept of our cars travelling from far and wide to a central venue is a good one, especially if there is no requirement to stay until late afternoon.
