Healey pilgrimage to Holland

Dear Healey Friends,
 
It seems that Holland is the place to go for Healey fans!

In August, we took our 1974 Jensen Healey MK2 (called BABs) on the Newcastle to IJmuiden ferry to The Netherlands to visit family and to 'tick some Healey boxes'. 

We did some shopping in the only ‘Healey Menswear’ shop in the world, in a lovely small town called Meppel, and we went to the fantastic HealeyMuseum in Vreeland, which has many unique and interesting cars (and even a Healey boat!). I also took the opportunity to briefly cross the German border and competed (as only foreign car) in the local ‘Gijs van Lennep Legend’ rally.
