The important thing was to keep the bubbling cauldron of Mazak completely clean of impurities. According to those who worked in the factory, it was a convenient place to dump your (illicit) fag ends and sweeties wrappers, so it's no wonder we have problems now.

What a brilliant thing to do with your weekend, well done indeed.

I had the same idea myself and enjoyed the whole thing very much. I joined the London drive which started behind Waterloo station and weaved around a few of the bridges crossing the Thames before escaping to the kent countryside. The driving in London can be a bit hectic for a convoy of about 50 cars but I love a challenge so Debbie (navigator) and I had a fantastic time.

My car is in the picture somewhere but there are too many gentlemen around!

Definitely going to be doing it again, hopefully I can post a link to the photo’s soon.

Had atrip out to Beale Park, Lower Basildon near Pangbourne.
Decent enough show with a good selection of cars.
No discount to get in the wildlife park though.

A few pictures.

Hi, more than a weekend but decided to fix my door locks prior to a trip to Scotland for my son's wedding, left home near Heathrow to Oban for a few days with some friends, then some sightseeing and across the middle to the Wedding at Pitlochry and Dunkeld Cathedral then home, total journey a little under 1200 miles, averaged a tad over 16 MPG which I thought was good considering the terrain, yellow weather warning, road closures, land slips, Jensen issues = zero, smiles = many, what a fab car on a journey (H Series Mk III with a few sensible updates)

Today Saturday 2nd December I went to a charity event at “The Pitstop”, which is car oriented Pub (originally the Stags Head) near Alcester in Warwickshire.
The primary intention was to support the MacMillan Charity and also to see how well my newly fitted reconditioned power steering unit behaved (which was excellently with a much improved heavier feel).
To my surprise in the car park was the car that is on the front cover of this months issue of our magazine and a short while later, I met its owner, Adam, who seems determined to use his car at every opportunity. It’s such a buzz to meet somebody famous.😁
Happy Christmas Jensen drivers everywhere
Brett.

Thank you for your kind words Brett, glad to see you're happy with your reconditioned steering rack.
It was a lovely day out, meeting yourself and other new people who don't hang about!

A few shots at the destination, my word it got cold once the sun went down!

Sleeping peacefully, dreaming of chasing wild mustangs (preferably Shelbys) out in the prairie. Sometimes it wakes up, bathed in sweat, probably having dreamt of congested roads :)
