It is time for me to move on my Black Mark 3 Jensen Interceptor. This car now benefits from brand new Harrington stainless steel bumpers that have been modified to fit properly (£1400 plus modification labour), new battery, full MOT this week, rebuilt with new gaskets Holley carburettor, with 83,000 miles on the clock. Previous owner spent over £7000 on the engine with new blocks, Edelbrook cylinder heads, Edelbrook manifold and streetfighter holley carb. Has the benefit of 17" alloy wheels in correct Jensen style for better and more modern tyre choice and plenty of tread left on the tyres, very little use. It is i believe one of only 19 with the semi factory fitted electric sliding sunroofs. 8 track working radio/cassette.
The car has a very tidy cream leather interior, but the front passenger side footwell carpets could do with being replaced due to water ingress before door seal was replaced.
It is far from perfect, there are signs of paint blisters and staining, the air conditioning pump wasnt fitted when i bought it but is present loose in the boot, some switches have a mind of their own if they will work on the specific day, and sometimes i have to tap the tacho glass to wake it up. There must be a slight weep from the power steering as the fluid level drop over 6 months but i have never found it. Elephant in the room is the power bulge fitted by a previous owner, i assume to make it look more Astonesque, will assist in cooler running but obviously not to everyones taste, also wears the Mark 4 (?) style from air dam. Number plate light is present just wasnt refitted when bumper photos taken.
Its great fun around the local roads and makes wonderful music from the twin tailpipes.
This is an honest car that will bring great joy to a new owner but would benefit over time from some cosmetic work, as with most Interceptors a full restore wont be cost effective but this car can give years of future pleasure.
Given i have just invested in the bumpers and MOT, i would really be looking for around the £20k figure for this car, will come with all the usual Jensen manuals.

here is the list of parts fitted by previous owner, so actually over £9k not £7k

Interior photos, leather in great shape with no splits or cracks, would take being cleaned and re-connollized very well.
