It has just been brought to our attention that there is an issue using the forum with Firefox (thanks Grant :-) )

This may also be the issue that Kees has.

If anyone else has problems in Firefox please clear the cache, that did the trick for me.

I just restarted my computer and Firefox is not letting me view the forum again, I feel Zac should not be trying to sort this out though as he has retired from the job, but, I wanted to let people know, I am now have to use another browser which is a nuisance for me.. but I guess its not really a problem.. my feeling is that we should just switch it all back to how it used to be as it has never really seem to be working properly, jumping around etc, its a little un-professional I feel, people else where always say "Oh Join the Forum", but if and when they come over here it's all over the place  ..Just my feeling and I am sure others will say and feel different about it  ..Grant

Just to say I use Microsoft Edge and have had no issues at all from day1. I haven't tried Firefox.

Using Firefox on the Mac and haven't had the login issues until yesterday. It seems that Firefox won't allow two Forum windows to be open at the same time- within Firefox. I'm also logged in on Safari on the phone and that doesn't seem to cause a problem.

No issues with Firefox at all on PC. Might suggest it is not a systemic issue but more localised, which would presumably be harder to diagnose. Or maybe I'm just lucky.

Clearing the cache seems to do the trick until you navigate or refresh the screen.

Can people that have problems with Firefox please email me (zac @ 383web.uk - remove the spaces) and let me know what version they use and also what operating system. It seems to work on Macs.

Click on the Open Menu button on the top right and then click help

Click on about Firefox

The version number is shown in the middle of the screen , e.g. 84.0.2

I'm running V 84.0.2 with no problems logging into the forum on the PC, although it does flag up this warning: Connection not secure.

84.0.2 (64-Bit) / macOS 10.15.7

But I rarely have issues with not being able to log in- and now I'm even able to open a 2nd forum tab.

I am also running the V 84.0.2 Zac but still have the stuck/scrolling loading bar as I explained via email Zac unless I clear the cache everytime..then it will work just that once until I clear the cache again :?

I've only ever used firefox for 15 years or so..it's always been fine with the forum Zac, it does update alot, so maybe you should not worry too much because soon there'll be another update and it will probably all fine again Mr Man :P
