Richie.. I've got a set here that I bought I think they are VW camper ones.. I got them from the UK to fit a Mk2 6" wide rim, I try them again in the workshop for you on a standard 6" rim and measure the width of the rings, that way you will to get the right ones as you need them to touch close near the center fro a snug fit as not to look like an add as much as poss, you could have had the ones here but I already promised them to someone else.. Simon with the MK2 VRL I think is the number plate.. give me a day or so as I am out all day tomorrow My Ole Fruit

Probably Richie, but its the depth that needs to be correct you see, I seem to remember that they could have been a little deeper to be 100% correct.. I remember ringing the supplier and checking the depth, but then they were all that was available over here in the UK and so I went for them.. let me clip one on and show you a pic, give you the depth and then advise from there

If you need a set to try I have a set brand new in box £45 the set. They fit Rover so I do not see why they won’t fit a Jensen

The Rover Rims I think are the 5.5j width and the Mk2 Rostyle is 6J.. but I can't remember if the difference is at the front face of the wheel or not.. I am about to go outside and measure now Richie, and we can check the measurement of mine with Mr Blue Sp's Trim rings that he is selling :P .. Be Back soon

The rover wheel is the same as a mk1 int or ff, the later Jensen rostyle has about 1/2" more outer lip so trim rings that fit an early wheel snug to the centre will be 1/2" from the centre of a later Jensen rostyle still ok but takes the edge from it having the deeper lip which transforms the look of the wheels imho

Correct DuncImage.. This is what I was trying to explain earlier at the beginning of thread to you Richie, if you don't get them deep enough they wont look right and they will look more like an add on, they need to touch the heel centre or as close as you can get them,.. the link you originally posted was to set that were called 1.5 inch deep rings, I think from my measuring that 1.5 inch or 40mm aprox is the ones I said I bought originally designned for th VW's and they are not deep enough look here at the pic I just took after fitting them to a Mk2 Wheel, see the gap, they don't look good >>>

Now from my working out you need another 15mm or so to be snug, which means just under 2" or 50mm, now that maybe too tight and you may not get it to touch the outer rim, it would be best if you could find a supplier and take a wheel there to try, maybe this Blue SP chap has some 2" or 50mm ones as I am unsure where the actual measurement is taken from and I wouldn't want you to waste your money and not be happy.
I took a chance with my others and bought 3" ones but as you know my wheels are banded.. I was lucky, but I have been down this road that is why I have that set that don't fit!!.. this is the fit you need like this>>

I have 4 chrome rings available from MK2 Rostyles. Since I chromed the rim I don’t need them anymore.

Hi GrottenolmImage
Would it be possible if you could post a picture of them on the wheels if you have one for the benefit?.. Did your one come close to the center of the wheel Grottenolm please?

:D
I had some full chrome Mk2 wheels on FF no 73. The factory did them when they upgraded the diffs to Mk2 ratios. They were still gorgeous, but well past their best when I got the car. That car was a real rocket. I think they worked on the engine too. I remember at the lights with a "1986 V8 Vantage on webbers" owning friend sitting in the passenger seat, in London, foot on the gas and brake, waiting for the lights to change. Woosh off we went. His only comment was "Why won't my Aston do that."

Hi Grant, no problem. The chrome covers most of the “ring” but not everything.
