Re: 123/3960 MRD544J
HI Jason,
Good work on the car, but am a little concerned about the front wing fit. It may be the picture, but the swage line along the wing should not meet the top wing edge at the front, there should be about an inch between the two. Have a look at some images on line and you will see. I'm hoping it is the picture that makes it look as though they meet, but best to get it right now, rather than find out after it is all finished and painted.

Hi Kevin, its just the photo, there’s a bit more trimming to do to get it a little higher yet. The metal you can see is where it had a repair section before and wasn’t cut high enough, my panel is tucked in tight behind it

You can see previous repair spot welds, they will be cut out as there to low, that should allow front of wing to pull out and fit nice around head lamp

Re: 123/3960 MRD544J
That looks better, it just didn't look right to me on the original picture, but my eyesight ain't what it used to be. I've seen a couple where the they have had the wing edge and swage line meet, and they always get pointed out, it then questions the rest of the car.
Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing it when done.

Re: 123/3960 MRD544J
The rear arch looked terrible with a flare not flat, but a couple of hours and now I’m happy with the fit. I had to clamp the panel to the welding table to pull it flat, make five or six cuts to the arch lip to take the stress out and then reweld.

Inbetween the welding I’ve refurbed the wheels until I can find another set which I’ll probably have banded
