I don't really understand why the car in the pictures wasn't cleaned.
"It has had nine owners, the last registered since 2006." and hasn't apprently been washed or cleaned since..

Lot 196 the blue one had a good interior but was absolutely rotten. Will be a lot of work to bring that back to life. Doors, sills, wheel arches, floors, front and rear valences and tailgate all needed extensive work and that is before you take the paint off !

Only for the brave.

Ah, thought the blue car seemed OK, you can never tell from the photos though i guess. The red mk3 has been in a hedge in west wales for the last 10 years, with the doors open and a fridge on top of it!

You joke, it's probably the car Richie spotted a few years ago in a field in wales! 300 SKK rings bells with me....

Looks like some people got bargains. More work than they bargained for perhaps, but still bargains. :o I think the blue one, with the nice interior was especially good. If you can save that interior, and feed over a couple of years or so, you have a lot of value. Most of the curves on the panels look there, granted massive amounts of metal folding and welding is needed, but the buyer no doubt wanted a project! Compare rebuilding this to a Ford Capri, or many other similar cars with 3 years of welding ahead, and it is not as crazy!

It is the same car Simon, I chased the owner after 18 months and it prompted him to pull it out of its resting place. More of a large garden than field!
