Its been a while since I posted my twin turbo 123/4125 on here, the time has come to give the engine bay a tidy up and the engine/transmission an upgrade. I have decided to remove the twin turbo setup mainly due to the car now being registered as an historic vehicle and going back to a 440 stroked to 500ci this will be backed up with a GM 4l65 highly modified transmission. The engine will be converted to fuel injection and the distributor replaced with 8 direct fire coils I will keep you up to date with progress I have attached some photos

Yes the girdle and main caps came in a kit, block had to be tunnel bored and then the caps and pan rails machined flat but other than that bolted straight in

Hi Daniel,
Is that a BCR girdle, the 1/2” thick one? Looks like it may be. Do you anticipate any pan clearance problems with the Interceptor crossmember as I know it’s a bit tight even without a girdle fitted!
Cheers,
Eric.

Gday, the gridle would have fitted just with no modifications, I decided to notch the front cross member so I could easily remove the sump if need be without having to raise the engine. The girdle is a BCR one with their billet main caps and rear seal housing, very well machine was very happy with the quality

The girdle looks to be better design than the Hughes one I was looking at. Any chance of a picture or two of the notched crossmember Daniel?
