What lovely original leather your car has Dion.

It reminds me of my own MK1 which had a similar interior. I never recoloured it, but I did apply some coloured leather balm as in the link below. I found it adds a bit of extra depth to the colour, adds shine and importantly adds dye to the bare leather scuffs - so it lifts the whole interior without compromising the original look.

Just thought I’d mention as it’s a really cheap and effective solution - and a great alternative to the normal leather feed product.

Trying to take care of the old leather. I am a little concerned about a couple of quite deep cracks on the driver's seat bottom left hand bolster. These are not ripped yet but I can imagine they will be sooner or later.
If I do not forget, I usually smear this every week to the leather. It has softened markedly. It was recommended by someone (forgot who), I wrote it down and ordered it a year ago. Am on my second tin now.
