Re: Name that car
There's a joke in there somewhere about a Cooper, but I haven't worked it out yet.

Re: Name that car
Could the blue car be an early Datsun - Fairlady?

Re: Name that car
Quite. But it is not too bad looking. They should have kept the door window lower edge the same as the horizontal door ridge. And everything after the cabin and above the rear wheel looks too messy.
Amazed they found space for a rear mounted fuel tank.
No idea about the make though.

Re: Name that car
RHD drive and a UK number plate by the look of it, Rover SD1 or Monza rear lights and maybe Wolfrace wheels, I am still thinking Kitcar or maybe a prototype?

https://www.mole-valley.co.uk/vehicle/- ... b8c984f3adGold Sirrus A mid-engined sportscar that’s rarer than a McLaren F1? Meet the Gold Sirrus, a sportscar designed and built in Surrey in 1991 by renowned Hot-Rod designer Nick Butler. It has a steel tube chassis, a composite body, a targa top, all-wheel-drive, a five-speed manual gearbox and a 3.5-litre Rover V8. Only two or three were made, depending on who you ask. It’s wild, whacky and really rather cool.

Full marks! This is the prototype. Only one production car made which is slightly different in styling of the air ducts.VFK44 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 07, 2024 12:06 pmhttps://www.mole-valley.co.uk/vehicle/- ... b8c984f3adGold Sirrus A mid-engined sportscar that’s rarer than a McLaren F1?
