Lucas P100 Headlamps

Post by SwissUK »

Lucas P100 Headlamps for sale, chrome in excellent condition complete with mounting brackets and dipping solenoids. I have had these for the last 46 years but they really wouldn't suit the Jensen! £1150.00 North Yorkshire / Ideally buyer collects.

Best of luck selling those Dave. If anyone buys a rough pair at c£500 and then gets them rebuilt, the total cost will be far more than your asking price - I know, and mine were "only" P80s!

Many thanks Mike,

It does seem a shame for them to sit here and not go to good use. We did see some a couple of years ago at an auto jumble in need of total refurb and they eventually fetched £750 so I was hoping they were at a realistic price!

I remember reading about the Austin Sheerline production line, where the P100 lamps were fitted. They regularly got dented before the car left the factory. One day a chap turned up and proceeded to demonstrate how he could invisibly remove the dents, and he was hired on the spot. I seem to recall it saved the factory £50 a time, and that was more than 60 years ago!
