Interceptor number 2623 was for sale about a year ago in London. The owner sent me some pics which I'll dig out from my other computer when I get a chance.
The car needed work but he reckoned that it ran. It was red (think it was blue originally) and it's blue leather had been dyed black.
Don't know what became of it.

Anybody else with info on this or any other Mark I FFs + Interceptors in roadworthy condition?
Ross:
Thank you Jonathan for this info, can you find out if it is still "roadworthy" and then I can add to the listInterceptor number 2623 was for sale about a year ago in London. The owner sent me some pics which I'll dig out from my other computer when I get a chance.

I already have 119/071 on the list, it was a duplicate of the FF at Cropredy for which I had no VIN number. Please supply present location if possible.Champagne / bronze FF

Just posted about 119/088 in the member's cars, it's just come out of the garage and will be MOT'd and roadworthy later this year. Lots done and more to do tho' ...
Martin
BTW If you've ever seen the 1977 film Speedtrap (it's on you-tube) I think what must be a very early red Interceptor NUC 479E gets a shameful battering in the opening car chase and probably can be considered lost and beyond repair.

Stuart Turner's car.
Tony,
I might be wrong but I don't think Stuart Turner's car is on your list (Mark1Stu.) I used to own 115/3248 and I recall that Stuart's car is one number off that.
Regards,
Paul McElhinney.
ps now where's my anorak?

Topcat (Tony? - not sure I know who is behind the pen name)
As some of you know I have been doing a very similar thing with CV8s and posted a list some time ago, that list was pulled apart and the duplicates and triplicates pointed out, but that was OK because that's why I posted the list. The list is kept up to date and available to anyone that wants it, and a few people have.
Point of this reply is to say that I use the Richard Calver rule and that is that a car seen in the last five years, unless obviously a goner (advertised for breaking for example), counts as a survivor. What you'll find is that because nobody is obliged to keep you up to date with a cars whereabouts you soon lose track of it, at least with the five year rule you have a chance of seeing it again before declaring it lost. As an example the car that was seen a year ago probably survives but equally probably nobody knows where it is now.
Interestingly I had an email over the weekend from a gentleman in the club who has ambitions to set up a website containing a register of EVERY Jensen that survives - hell of a task to set himself. More on that later in the year. hopefully from the gentleman himself once he has canvassed opinions (probably you have had the same email).
Regards
John

I have been asked to pass on the following:
Hi
I'm not a JOC member (nor in JOC forum), so... tell the topcaviator, that there's a Interceptor Mk I in Finland: 115/3282.
The car is registered and on the road.
Mark
From a Mark Lonngren
No connection and don't know why i am the post box but happy to oblige, obviously can't vouch for the info (I did reply and ask him to confirm he was the owner, no reply back yet).
Regards
John
