Chrysler 383ci restauration ... some issues

Post by Catolard »

Hello,

I will concentrate in this subject all question I have during the global restauration of my 383ci motor ... always with pictures and feedback.

So first of all thanks for y our support, it's a big challenge the restauration of this car that I started few weeks ago ...

So I start to clean up the engine a bit ... after a fairly thorough disassembly

And for the moment I just have a silly question .. but I prefer to ask a silly thing that to do it :-)

How did you remove the freeze plugs ? And .. I found some kit for the motor, but for the moment not for the cylinder head blocks .. if y ou have some link to suggest ;-)

Hi catolard,
here is a link for freeze plugs but you may get all engine parts from that company as well. Very informative website.
