Hi
Both new survivors to my list
The first car - and later car 2310/1423 appears to be the better car
Both cars at a low reserve of £6/12,000
Kind regards
Jim Smith

Looks like 9930 was for sale in 2015 at Gullwing Motors for $37500. All the filler seems to have subsequently fallen out to compound its other issues....

No Grant, I did view both but didn't bid and decided to leave it to some other brave and wealthy enthusiasts to fix on this occasion.
The damp, mould, rust, dodgy wiring, modifications, general neglect, wear and tear, accident damage, comedy exhaust systems, oil leaks and mouse damage all seem to have conspired to keep me on the straight and narrow. When did you say you were having them delivered?

The vendor might regret not saving time and money by going straight for the latest offering from Gullwing Motors. £28,500 at todays exchange rate.

I had a pop at the red one. I was top bidder with a cheeky bid briefly 20 seconds before the end! The price on that jumped up a lot in the last seconds.

A few pics of 1423 to help with those who have any fear of "missing out" on a bargain...

Shame the previous owners kept them in the sauna!
A copper brown convertible in fresh paint, manual, six pack, and new sheepskin inserts, following Felix's CV8 through the Twisties at the Swiss meeting. That was the dream. My last hope was that the buyer does a runner when he sees the car and that the underbidder gets it!

Obviously I was being cantankerous John with my comments, as it is a lovely ole bus that just needs some time spent on it..was it this one that you bid on then?..I somehow thought it was the other one (the red one)..Still think it was a cheap car even with the problems that it has highlighted by our general fault finding eagle eyed PeterManjohnw wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 1:32 pm Shame the previous owners kept them in the sauna!

It was the red one I bid on. That was originally Copper Brown! That one did have sheepskin insets from the factory by the looks too! A lot of work though. I would have given it a go at what I bid...Grant wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 1:43 pm Obviously I was being cantankerous John with my comments, as it is a lovely ole bus that just needs some time spent on it..was it this one that you bid on then?..I somehow thought it was the other one (the red one)..Still think it was a cheap car even with the problems that it has highlighted by our general fault finding eagle eyed PeterMan
