Paul bought the car in July 2020 and has been restoring it since.
It was a genuine barn find having been stored for 10 years with 2 other interceptors.
Unfortunately, it appears the roof where the car was stored was leaking above the car & the front end had suffered badly, the engine was seized & full of water.
Some of the windows had been smashed & it appears a family of foxes had moved in who then proceeded to eat the seats & give the interior an unforgettable smell.
Since the car was displayed at last year’s show Paul has finished fitting the body panels, it then went off to the paint shop who he says did an awesome job with the Pistachio paintwork.
After painting Paul has been busy fitting the parts back on that he took off 3 years ago, most of the original chrome has been redone plus he fitted new 17’ wheels & a black vinyl roof.
He also stripped the dashboard & had the wood veneer redone.
The next job will be to refit the wiring loom then finish the interior, some of which will be done at the show.
