In the present financial climate I think a little more effort

Is required than a 3 year old video & not putting an MOT on it

when asking £135k

(I know it’s exempt)

Given that it is showing as SOLD, perhaps not.

It looks similar to the Jensen used in the Fast & Furious franchise (film six, I believe); therefore, this may have appealed to someone outside of the normal demographic.

It seems to have reapeared on Facebook marketplace but the price has dropped to £85K. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... =undefined

That is some reduction but possibly more realsitic in the currnet market.

A better set of photos from the last time it was for sale.
Interesting modifications to the suspension set up both back and front.

Interesting - might just be the car for someone - I think the market for Jensens over 50k is really tough at the moment, 50k seems to be a cut off point for many buyers out there

1973 Jensen Interceptor III Restomod
Completely restored custom car, 7.2L V8, 44K Miles, Auto

We are thrilled to offer for sale this superb, custom Jensen Interceptor, which has been a labour of love over a five year period. Now completely restored to an incredibly high standard, leaving nothing untouched. The car was completely stripped, media blasted to bare metal and then rebuilt. All metalwork and custom fabrication has been carried out to a high standard by Mike Wood of Bones Garage. This included new floors, inner & outer sills, custom wider front and rear quarters, custom front and rear valance, larger bonnet bulge, smoothed out doors and many other custom touches. The car received a full professional repaint and now presents extremely well throughout. Mechanically the car is now also in fantastic condition, with everything either being rebuilt, replaced or refurbished. The original 7.2L Chrysler V8 has been fully rebuilt, with the crankshaft ground and the addition of upgraded bearings, performance cam, performance Edelbrock carb, alloy head, upgraded cooling fans, radiator and also modern A/C. The underside of the car is immaculate and is also painted body colour. A full custom stainless exhaust is fitted which sounds fantastic. All running gear has been refurbished, the suspension has been completely refreshed with the rear leaf springs being replaced by a multi-link adjustable setup from Wisbech engineering and the front on fully adjustable coilers. The front brakes have been upgraded and are now running Fosseway 4 pot callipers with vented discs. The car has obviously been lowered and now has an aggressive stance, sitting on new 17″ Rocket Racing alloy wheels with matching Goodyear tyres all round. Much consideration was given to this set up to ensure the original rolling radius was retained. The interior is completely bespoke, with all work carried out to a very high standard by Sergents Auto Trim Ltd, consisting of custom diamond stitched black leather seats with Jensen logo in the headrests, diamond stitched Alcantara headlining, custom carpets and diamond stitched leather door cards. A classic DAB radio complements the interior. The car is a joy to drive and certainly turns heads everywhere it goes. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a one of a kind, totally custom Jensen which has had a fortune spent on it and hours of time put into it. The result of which is a simply breathtaking car!
