S-V8 for sale

Post by Sir Percival »

Jensen S-V8
This car is one of only 38 completed and is in Selenium Red, one of only three in this colour.
It has had £14000 spent on it in the last 2000 miles, which includes;
• A brand new modified (to make it more waterproof) mohair hood supplied and fitted by Riverbourne Classics. This has never been wet yet.
• New springs and shock absorbers, again supplied by Riverbourne. These are fully adjustable for ride height, bump and return
• It has had the gearbox modified, using parts supplied from the USA, to ensure it will never get stuck in reverse (a regular issue with the Tremec T45 transmission)
New battery just fitted and a host of other expenditure, all documented. Always garaged, I am only the second owner.
Loads of paperwork come with it including service and warranty book, owners handbook, reviews and road tests etc.
It won the Show and Shine trophy at the 2001 Jensen owners club meeting for “Best sportscar”
It drives great, looks great and you are highly unlikely to see another on the road.
The only reason for the sale is that I have other vehicles that need my attention----

Price; £54.950 ONO

When you select 'post reply' and the dialogue box opens up for you to make a comment you will see an 'attachments' tab lower down.
Press it, then press 'add files'.
Then select the pic you want.
Then press 'inline'.
Then wait for it to load. (Green line)
Then select 'submit'.

Stunning looking car but I'm too tall to drive it.

Even with the top down. The top screen rail is right in the eyeline so I'd have to duck :oops:

I have the exact same problem with an E-Type convertible. Not that I’m as tall as you but, I am tall in the body, with little legs..

very nice - and better looking to my eye than the very similar TVR Tuscan in 1999 that I bought - and then sold it 12 months later

Re: S-V8 for sale...PRICE REDUCED

Post by Sir Percival »

I now urgently require garage space for my next project...so price reduction required;

NOW 10% off

£49,455

Even this could remain subject to some further possible, sensible, negotiation...for a determined buyer.

Regards
Perce

It's been interesting reading your time with the car. Good of you to keep us posted with price updates. All too often Jensens get sold to the trade without us getting a look in.
