Hi Joerg

Chassis No 131/4769
Originally Reef Blue with a Beige interior
Original Registration No EOH 600 L

May then have carried Registration No LRD 675 L

Owned by a JOC Member No 8507 in 2004 until at least 03/04.2009 from Dereham and requiring ongoing restoration and now with current Registration No of GUD 770 L
Appears restoration may have been undertaken circa 2010

Car for sale by Epping Motor Co in 04.2014 and 08.2004 in current colour and black interior with 38,000 recorded miles for £34,995 and then £37,995
I have copies of these adverts if of interest

A Photograph in 09.2018 in Flickr and appears to be in very good condition

Not sure how it has now only done 12,345 miles

I hope this is of some help

Regards

It is a dealer selling on commission so not the usual mark up and hope strategy, will be looking for a fair market value within a reasonable timescale. Prices may well continue downwards, the weakening having started in general back in April, Jensen were doing well until very recently, the dealer probably looked at the recent FF auction on the same site. I would assume this car has had an interior swap at some point as that looks too good/original to be a retrim. 12345 looks like an obviously made up mileage, basically to say we won't/can't guarantee mileage.

I have noticed quite a few motorcycle and car projects, good restoration candidates but needing work, that are being offloaded at bargain prices making them viable DIY candidates for the first time in a long while. Presumably people were holding them as investments and budgeting in a light restoration before sale, but as restored vehicle prices have been hit so much. decided to sell Whether this is a short term liquidity squeeze driven by UK interest rates or a longer term trend, a shift away from petrol towards EVs, is difficult to say.

Hi Jim

I have this car recorded as 138/8477, which left the factory in Silver Grey on 19 April 1973 according to the chassis data book. The owner confirmed it as a 1973 car in his article about it in issue 204 of the JOC magazine.

LRD 675L is still listed on the DVLA site with a first registration date of August 1972, which is consistent with 131/4769 originally registered EOH 600L
