Copy and paste description is currently incorrect - not only mentioning Princess Anne again as a former Jensen owner (!) but referencing car 128 4939 with 43000 miles on the clock and some further confusion about the number of owners. No doubt this will be corrected soon!

Previously sold at H&H Auctions in July 2019 for £21,938. Mileage then stated as 27,000. Now declared as 26,200 miles. Mileage in June 21 when last MOT tested was 25,629.

Strangely it also went through H&H in 2002 when it sold for £3600 with a declared mileage of......27,000 miles. It even again refers to "repainted last year". Copy and paste at its worst.

Thank you Peter, shame it did not sell, but thinking prices are really dropping in the general classic car world. Money is not really around to play with old cars now.
Currently working on this exact Jensen on my driveway. Tidying up brakes, engine, running gear and electrics
Tyres a bit old now
But engine starts and runs a treat

Based on my limited knowledge, good Interceptors (I.e. restored properly) are still selling now for strong money (circa £70k) albeit under the radar, so to speak.
Some good ones are also selling too cheap….due to a combination of short selling timescale, bad advice, where sold, and presentation of car.

This is true only last week I assisted with the sale of an Interceptor for £70K, it was a very nice car I have known the car and owner for many years. The car was worth every penny and will be much cheaper and less stressful to own than some of the £40-£50K cars sold on auction sites.Mark1Stu wrote: ↑Sun Sep 03, 2023 5:45 am Based on my limited knowledge, good Interceptors (I.e. restored properly) are still selling now for strong money (circa £70k) albeit under the radar, so to speak.

The car in question had never been openly advertised and as I suspect many of the best cars sell this way.
