Now, that looks like a proper Jensen. Hope it finds a sympathetic new custodian.

Interceptor Convertible
Re: Interceptor Convertible
Has been on the 2022 Techno Classica in Essen - a white painted wreck on wheels. Hardly any sills but Bondo and filler everywhere.
I own some of the odd Jensen

Re: Interceptor Convertible
Helpful advice guys.
Re: Interceptor Convertible
Very helpful. Thank you!
I’m with Stuart — given what I’ve seen in convertibles, to me, this looked better than most. We often see the rear windows stuck in the ip or down position indicating potential relay or microswitch issues.
The top can sometimes sit oddly in the lowered position or be lumpy when raised, suggesting padding installation by someone not quite sure.
Black moquette inside the glovebox cal be little more than dust.
There is so much that looks right with this car — it is very disappointing that they’ve not taken care with the critical areas you’ve pointed out, Jens and Joerg. Pricey work, I’m sure, but with so much else looking pretty good, it would have been money very well spent. Odd that they didn’t; their site is pretty impressive, so they must know cars.
I hope potential buyers take the closer look that you’ve suggested. Again, thank you for helping someone make a more informed decision.
Sincerely,
Adam
