Thank You - JOC International

Post by Richie »

Though I was only able to make it for the Saturday night and Sunday, huge thanks from me to all those involved in making the International the thoroughly enjoyable event that it was.
I had a great time and I know that I was far from alone in that respect. As an ex owner, I'm so glad I came along, even if it was just to add some much needed glamour to the car park.
Great cars, great times, great company.

That is a fabulous Capri, great to see it at the event!

Back in the late 80's I had a chance to buy a brand new 280 Brooklands at an excellent discounted price from our local Ford dealer (they just wanted to clear it!)... missed opportunity.. !

best regards,

Good show Adam. Not easy to change the clutch under these circumstances with loads of comments no doubt!

Oh dear, even worse. Same amount of work though. Not for the first time. To much lead in the sole of the right foot?
Where did the replacement come from so quickly? Would not have been in the boot as a spare.
Perhaps a Getrag 235 would be stronger?

Martin Shirley bought the gearbox down, that was one every day car we didn't mind having in the car park :-)

As has been said, a wonderful weekend.

We also interested some of the golfers there for a tournament in the cars.

Thanks to Alan and Chris Jones for organising the scenic run.
