Plenty of poetic licence in the paragraph about the 541 models, but it reads well!

Won't say how much I (the JCC) paid, but if you add postage and customs... still, easily twice that :roll: "clothed with a smooth if not particularly elegant glassfibre body" (on the C-V8, of course) :D

Digressing slightly, I'd love to see a thread dedicated to classic car (and motor racing) books.

I'm certainly on the look-out for a (affordable, although this is a relative term, of course) mint copy of:

Jensen FF: 320 Short Stories (any volume);
Flying on Four Wheels (Denis Ortenburger & Frank Costin)
'It Was Fun' (Tony Rudd)
Jensen fancier, intermittent owner of British classics
