Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Just Jane Lancaster Bomber

Folks, Paul Hogan, the JOC Tours Co-ordinator has arranged a visit to former RAF East Kirkby to see "Just Jane", the only privately owned Lancaster Bomber, combined with a stay at the famous Petwood Hotel at Woodhall Spa and a visit to RAF Conningsby for the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
The visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will take place in the afternoon of Friday 21st April, the RAF can only arrange such visits on weekdays.
Petwood Hotel was once home to 617 Squadron, who should need no introduction. This year will be the 80th anniversary of the raid on the dams of Germany which took place on 16th - 17th May 1943, the actual anniversary date being just a few weeks after our visit.
Numbers for this visit are limited by the RAF so if interested, register your interest to Paul at tours@joc.org.uk as soon as possible.
