Great first day out in the GT @ Shere Hill Climb.

Started off a bit rough but the run to Guildford really perked her up! Couple of running repairs but overall a uneventful trip.

Great fun drive, loves the twists and bumps of the backroads.

Would 7754L work? Pic attached. Also the chassis plate. Model 1640-1. Paint code seems obliterated. I did get the question if black was the original colour. Be nice to know. I’ve only ever known it on black.

Interesting to see that your ID plate (early GT) is different to the one on my car (late GT, 30422). So, it seems two kind of ID plates were fitted to the GT. Would be nice to know when the changeover date or chassis number was.
I ordered a new plate from Robeys and got the early style plate.
