Preliminary Notice - J-H 50th at Isle of Man Festival of Motoring 2022

Post by shaun »

Just a quick heads up but if you fancy it, the Club has reserved 15 rooms at the Best Western Palace Hotel, Douglas, Isle of Man for the Isle of Man Festival of Motoring 2022.

It would be great to get a few (i.e. lots) of J-H's on the island to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the marque.

Take a look at https://www.sceniccartours.com/iomfm-2022

4night/5 day tour suggested.

Please let me or Rob Heydon know if you have booked.

The rooms will only be available until end of November. So, if youi want to go, book EARLY.

Hi everyone,

Further to Shaun announcement, we have now update the website with all the details for this event. As noted there is only 15 room reserved for the club but it does not mean we can only have 15 cars so the more the merrier... Jensen Healey to lead the pack for sure though..

website event link: https://joc.org.uk/events/isle-of-man-f ... -motoring/ - Right click to open in a new window or head to events at the top of the menu bar.

I'm going, just need a few others to join me 8)

For a bit of extra enticement, this is what I did last time on the mountain road https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNrjVkD29Eg&t=22s
There are slower speed groups available so you can have a more leisurely run if you'd prefer.

Karan and I are going, and he's been chatting to one of our neighbours in Cyprus about his son who is keen petrol head... Already sent him the link to check it out... Sure it will be fun!

Just to say I've booked now so that's at least 3 J-H's! What about the rest of you?

The guy who answers the phone at Scenic Car Tours can answer all your questions. We found him every helpful. But their website also includes the Ts and Cs, plus specific COVID related conditions.
