1974 JH Mk 2 at Auction

Post by Clive Bishop »

Anglia Auctions have a 1974 JH Mk2 for auction with a estimate of £15 - £18K for a 21800 mile car. This is at their auction on the 07th & 08th November

There is also a video showing the car and when they start and drive it it, there is plenty of smoke.

appreciate the low mileage but that estimate seems high? Unless they've gone up in value...??

And why not or should the JH be a car that can never appreciate? I am only making a counter statement.....

I was just asking - happy for them to appreciate - just hadn't seen them advertised that high that's all so was asking people's thoughts

Looking at the photos, this car seems to be in very original, unmolested condition with many fittings and trim parts which are no longer available - such as original carpets, seat belt anchors , rubber mats, seats etc. For the purist this would be a good buy, provided engine and bodywork is up to scratch. Pity the engine wasn't sorted for the video sounds like its only running on 3 cylinders!
About time these cars fetched their true worth.

Agreed. That car presents like it did when it was new. If the condition is up there, it's certainly worth the money. Few cars remain that way.
