Dare I say this but it almost seems to cheap.

A nice paint job if done properly and a new interior would have cost nearly half of the asking price. I suppose there are no bumpers and the chrome has all been blacked but it still seem good value for money.

It will be interesting to see if it looks as good in the flesh and what will it look like in 5 years.

It does appear to be a bit of a bargain in many ways and, it looks very nice on the video!
I wonder how one opens the doors from the outside? A touch of TVR perhaps with a hidden button?

Really like this, it does look like it’s been done well. Loads more photos on the sellers main website http://www.burevalleyclassics.co.uk/lis ... -restomod/

Agree with the above comments, if this is done to a good standard it seem really good value if not cheap.

The photos on the sellers website suggests this has been done well.

I would love to see it in the metal, I would go as far to say I wish I had room in my garage.

Very nice with some interesting touches. I do wonder how long the exhaust down pipes will last with that stance though?

Yes really like it, apart from the wing mirrors, to me they just look far too big....

Shame I haven't got the spare pocket money these days.......

The price does seem very fair, I remember the guy coming in to North Hants Tyres and looking at the Rocket Racing Wheels, the package alone with the Goodyear brand tyres cost him just under £1500.00. He was very particular on what he wanted and explained what he was going to do, it was around the time I had just purchased my SP at auction so the timeline and description is correct. I am surprised that it is for sale as I was under the impression it was his dream car.

Yes, beautiful indeed, but I would correct the ride height, the missing bumpers and fit proper Interceptor 17" or 18" GKN wheels.

I cannot believe restomod is something acceptable - But a high quality restoration like this one with proper matching bumpers and wheels will definately be in the £70k range. Although history does make a big difference and if there is no history or hidden rot in the metal, then it is priced right

cheers

A bit over the top with mum's quilt left overs but a very nice job. How much did she go for? Oh! and poor Martin R. will just have to brave the winter in the UK this year as Australian borders closed. I shall pray for him. kenny38 8)
