Re: Classic cars on the road
Very pure and very beautiful. An early example of the Hoffmeister kink that is still found on the rear pillar of today's (ugly) BMWs.

Re: Classic cars on the road
I was speaking to an owner of one of these pillarless BMW's at a car show. He was telling me the company that had sprayed his car had damaged some of the stainless trim around the windows when they removed it. He had to buy another car to get replacements as some parts are so hard to get.
Agree with you that they are a great looking car.

On the M4 on our way to Legoland last week.. the Midget that was on the road was cracking on at a pace.

Small cars cover their own length very quickly, so often appear swifter than large ones!Richie wrote: the Midget that was on the road was cracking on at a pace.

Spotted this P1800ES heading towards the moors over the
bank holiday weekend.
Plenty of classics out and about in Devon.

As you can see, we were in the outside lane... and had to move swiftly to catch it up!VFK44 wrote:Small cars cover their own length very quickly, so often appear swifter than large ones!Richie wrote: the Midget that was on the road was cracking on at a pace.

So nice to see a full tonneau again.
