I did not mention cuisine or drink on the list that Britain has gifted the world....
Nor did I mention comedy (or football )

Congrats,
it took the UK till 2020 to discover the frustrations of the colonists in 1776.
Welcome to our side of the pond

Is that by the same author as 'Climate Change' = The Biggest Fraud in History?AH1951 wrote:I used to think the EU was a good thing.
I didn't know any better.
Then I read an amazing book:
"Europe on €387 million a day."
That really opened my eyes.
Have Trump and Putin called BoJo to congratulate already?Welcome to our side of the pond

This Forum is open to political discussion, alongside our motoring interests, but this only works if members remain respectful of each other.

Re: Free, at last!
Oh dear.
Please calm down everybody. The Brits have decided to leave, it is a pity and a big loss to European Integration from my side of view, but it is the way it is. So now everyone has to deal with it, no matter what he/she likes and prefers.
I hope we will keep our spirits high in the Club as we did before no matter what the opinions are.
I will ride my Jensens, my Reliant, my Gordon Keeble and think of my friends on the other side of the channel. I personally think the decision was a mistake, others think different - here you go.
Shouldn‘t we have a European meeting on the continent again? Maybe next year? Drink a few pints and have a jolly good time TOGETHER?
Just a thought ...

The Turin trip is next year, or am I wrong? Italian beer?! They have a special sausage there, which I only found out about after the last trip. But, now I've searched for it again, and I can't find it anymore
