Nice find. Lord Carrington's car, outside the Houses of Parliament.

Brings back happy memories from the time I lived in London only a couple of years later.
At the time when speeding you may be stopped by the police and with: "Good day sir, May I advice you to keep to the legal speed limit? Have a nice evening!" and that was it.

Lord Carrington's car outside the Houses of Parliament - taken in a much more innocent time when you could actually park in the road right outside and even walk past on the pavement with only a couple of unarmed Policemen on duty, when any member of the public could go inside to the public gallery without being searched.
Now the road has been moved away from the building, there are barriers between the road and pavement and the place is crawling with armed Police with more no doubt in cars and vans just a minute or two away and airport style security to get in and the public gallery has bullet proof glass to the roof between the public and the members below.
This is what we get for all our meddling in the affairs of other countries around the world.
This is the view today of where Carrington's car was parked, just in front of where the blue car is now.

What's that bronze or copper colored car in front of the Good Lord's Interceptor? A Jaguar of some type?

Could be either Jaguar Mk2 or Daimler 2.5 V8.

Good to meet you today Martin. Nice to see another two Jensens out and about as 2019 draws to a close. Really did not appreciate how good the view is through the rear window of the coupe that was there. My car drove really well today - guess it just liked the cold air and my tinkering of late. See you in Stony. Karan
