it has been a while since I drew attention to this thread but I thought 3 new survivors in the last week was a worthy post. I am still waiting for information and photos of 2 of them but that now brings the survival list to 35.74% (366/1024 cars). One of them is one of the only 2 cars originally painted 'bitter chocolate'.

A good week for finding survivors.

I have been in contact with someone who has 10 Interceptors 5 of which are Mk1s - of those one was last recorded in 1995, one was last seen in 2014 and is the yellow on currently on eBay and the other 3 are new survivors.

He also has an FF (I told him that, as I can't afford one, I don't count them and, for the pedantic amongst you, I don't know if that is one of the 10. I have, however, been given the chassis numbers of the new ones and am waiting for photos before I publish the numbers. But I have added them to the survivors total now - 369 or 36.04%.

On that point Steve, there seems a bit of crossed information on the page for 2564. It seems to have some of the data for 2565 i.e. original registration, colour and interior. And it's not in New Zealand.

thanks Chris will look at that.

Looked at it and changed info on 2654. Do you know anything about 115/2565? I have it as last seen in 2013

been a while since I advertised that I had published any updates.

I have just added 20+ photos of Pablo's excellent work and a few others. I also 'borrowed' and added a couple of articles from the latest Stoo Chat that are mk1 specific.

Two new survivors this week. First one I am waiting details and photos; the second one is for sale and the seller agrees the price is a tad optimistic see http://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/ ... 34FLY.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

that is 372 or 36.33%

I now have added photos of second survivor mentioned in the previous post. Located in Newport and it was given to Luke by his grandfather.

Car is 115/2924 and can be seen via the welcome page in the Sep additions.

115/2701 (previously seen on ebay in August 2017 and recorded in this thread) has popped up again on a Facebook group page https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid ... =3&theater" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Picture taken within the last 2 weeks of the date of this posting. It's still in the same location as photographed in 2017. Owner thinks it's worth a fortune!

I have been very lax recently but being confined to barracks (not really it is raining) I have updated the website including one new survivor and 3 others. One of which was on Facebook but whereabouts and condition is not known so I created a page for posterity - or anyone else with a strange name - just in case it pops up at some stage in the future, but it is not recorded as a survivor or scrap.

Reunited a previous owner with the current owner of his car today.

Very nice to be able to reunite a past and current owner. I saw a post on one of the Facebook pages and managed to identify the current registration number using the cross reference spreadsheet. Got in touch with the current owner who, in turn got in touch with the person asking for his dad. Added a few photos to the Album Page too. see http://www.joc.org.uk/Interceptor_Mk_1/ ... _2HGA.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Hopefully they will send old photos and i will be able to add that to the History of the car.
