Decided to sell my JH,looking for sensible offers,has 4sp overdrive upgrade,refurb wheels etc etc, not concours condition,but good condition ,obviously has history of repairs last mot ran out Llanelli last year ,passed only comment slight surface rust underneath

I’ve had a couple of members interested,but as usual they wanted it for nothing which is surprising as they are the first to complain they are under valued as a classic,I have the front seats away getting recovered at the moment ,I had it up for sale as I was after a Porsche 914 which has been sold,but they keep reappearing from time to time,I was after £6500 at the time so if you are interested I could get seats back,they aren’t in bad nick ,I was just tidying it up a bit,I live in Middlesbrough ? Are you far away,

The price is what it is,,again my statement in the last communication raises its ugly head,there are plenty of s/hand JH about (no new I’m afraid) in sad condition requiring a lot of work ,mine is in good state and running around fine/good if you had said you want a project mines not for you

£6.5k seems very reasonable if the car is as described, after all a similar condition MGB/TR etc would cost at least 30% more and the JH is 200% more car.

I wish people would realise how rare good Jensen-Healeys are and be prepared to pay accordingly. I have seen George's car and would have thought £8,500 would be a more appropriate asking price.

Thank you all for your comments,I think the jh,s are a cracking car put against the mgb and they should be of a higher value.i was trying to be realistic with my price
