GWSR Classic Vehicle Day 8th Sept....

This is a good day out if you like classic cars and locomotives!

I've been 3 times before in different classic cars, but have never spotted a Jensen there!

It's free entry for your car on a large field next to Toddington Station, on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway.

You get 2 for 1 rover tickets to ride on the steam or diesel pulled trains from Broadway to Cheltenham racecourse, or you can chill out on the Classic Vehicle field if you prefer. There's usually a couple of hundred cars, but plenty of space.

I've just registered online and I'm taking my Interceptor along this year, weather permitting!

My Scimitar at a previous event....

I would love to be there but it's the same day as the committee meeting.

I'd actually much rather be at the GWSR. I helped lay the second length of track there back in around 1983.

I know that car, as we camped next to it's owner at a national meet...Nice Guy,lovely car too!

If I got another Scimitar, I would go for a Middlebridge....they're very Jensen like inside! 8)
